Xbox 360 Live Arcade- Gaming Redefined

Although there are countless things you can do with Xbox arcade the most important benefit will be the cost savings that are offered. Microsoft uses Xbox 360 live arcade to digitally distribute games to your Xbox gaming system. Microsoft Xbox 360 Live account will include Live Arcade. There are currently 146 titles available for download.

How can I aquire the Xbox Live Arcade Video Games?

In order to get games you need to purchase them with Microsoft Points.Most games are between 400 and 1600 Microsoft points but most are below 800 points.   These games are usually takes on if not direct ports of classic titles that most gamers would be familiar with.Xbox games are really not for the hard core gamer, instead the games are designed for casual gamer types.There are lots of games that are available at Xbox live arcade, but I will only mention of few of my favorite ones.

First up is Doom.Sep 27th 2006 was the beginning of Doom for Xbox arcade.This game is still loads of fun today and was one of my favorites when it first came out.Go on a killing blasting demons in the multi player classic first person shooter.A generation of games have been defined by Xbox.  I still find it to be challenging enough and the replay value on it is really high.

Cooperative play Defender is next up on my memory list.  This with Dig Dug, Double Dragon, and really any of the Coin-Op classics bring me back to my early gamer days.This side scroller spaceship game is seriously addictive now as it was then.You can spend hours of flying and shooting when the complex challenges of the more recent games get to be to much.

The last one up is Buku Sudoku.The traditional Sudoku puzzle will give you 360 variations of play which will keep you entertained for hours.Buku Sudoku is truly a thinking man’s game. This complex game will keep you busy for hours trying to figure out the different puzzles.
