Console gamers claim consoles are better because they simply have to plug their machine into a socket and begin to play so it is way easier to use compared to other methods. Computer games tend to take longer to begin due to the fact that the game has to be installed into a hard drive and there could even be issues about compatibility which can become a frustration. In this arena, console games are definitely at an advantage. Another point to consider is the quality of graphics and most gamers claim computer games are certainly superior above console games in this arena. Naturally, this is so because PC’s will tend to have greater amount of space and capabilities when it comes to graphic presentation, thus, colors are sharper and shapes are much more defined. Compared to consoles, computers again have this edge. Add to this the continuing developments on computer-intended graphic technologies which practically make computer graphics increasingly superior with each upgrade option made available. Probably one thing that makes console games more preferable is the fact that a player can play with a consistent level of performance from the machine as compared to computers whose performance capabilities are dictated by the PC’s specs, such as RAM, CPU, hard drive , drivers and video cards. While all these can potentially pose problems in one’s PC game experience, consoles do not have these issues and are, therefore, favorable in this respect. In terms of availability of games, it’s undeniable that more games can be played on a PC and consoles are naturally lagging behind in this category. Both PC and console gaming will have its own merits and demerits and it will simply depend on the individual gaming play as experienced by the gamer for him to form his own judgment of which is actually better.
Although it is well worth noting that none of the major companies, Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, have actually announced that there will be any new console on the way until at least 2012 it is well worth looking to see just what may be going into the new consoles.
Nintendo
Nintendo are in desperate need on improvements. The Wii is a poor console overall but it would seem that Nintendo never promised it would be just as good as their others. Nothing Nintendo has made has really touched upon the awesomeness of the N64. Although the Wii has sold a lot more than the PS3 and the Xbox 360 it lacks games for the fans, decent graphics and has very poor motion sensing technology.
However the Wii was always seen as a prototype for Nintendo and it will be very interesting to see what they come up with next. Expect better motion sensing and much better graphics.
Sony
Overall the PS3 is not a bad console at all, so what can be done with the next one? Well for starters you cannot complain at the graphics however it just seems to lack the decent games that Microsoft have which is why I think they will concentrate on investing time and money in developers over the next few years. Online play needs to be improved upon too.
Microsoft
The Xbox 360 overall is a very good system indeed as it has great graphics and a really good community, does it have faults? It does indeed and it would seem it breaks a lot and could do with a broweser upgrade.
Project Natal could be Microsoft's answer to the new console?
The world of gaming has developed to the extent that even choosing a way to play games is a difficult decision in itself. If you went out and bought every gaming system and / or gaming console that was available today, you could easily spend several months mortgage payments. Add on the cost of the games too, and there are literally thousands to choose from, and it’s easy to understand why gaming is now considered more than just a hobby. The cost of involvement hasn’t hindered the development of the gaming industry though, which is now more popular than ever before.
The online capabilities of most gaming platforms and games has been highlighted as the principal reason for the beyond expected growth of the gaming industry. Whilst online gaming has been around in one form or another for some time, it is only lately that it has come into its own. From the days of simply playing ‘Pong’ with a friend in the same room, we now find ourselves in a time where we can play games with graphics resembling a movie, against 20+ people simultaneously, from all around the world.
Online gaming as we find it today can basically be put down to improved communications technology. It is only with the introduction of high speed Internet connections that we are able to enjoy the gaming experience that we do. The thought of playing someone on the other side of the world at the same gaming speed as you could play someone in the same room as you was considered to be a pipe dream not so long ago. Hard to believe now that we consider it to be the norm - but totally true.
There is not a typical online game and they can range from very simplistic text based programs to intense graphic based games that are quite detailed. You can find typical childrens’ games that are geared towards education. You can also find very detailed adult oriented games full of lots of effects and graphic violence.
The bringing together of people is another reason for the continued success of online gaming. Whereas once gamers were looked upon as loners, they are now seen as being part of a community - one in which they can meet and interact with people who have similar interests and mindsets. Forums, chatrooms, wikis, competitions, etc. are often built up around popular games, and these can be used to build real relationships with people, which extend beyond the game itself.
The disc Xbox games are stored on is very sensitive to sunlight and the scratches caused by loading the disc into the Xbox 360, and other things that might scratch it. Sooner or later it will become more difficult to read the disc and in the final you will lose the Xbox 360 game.
The only option is to buy a new game, because there is no money back guarantee or disc exchange when Xbox 360 games gets ruined.

- Then you need to copy the Xbox 360 game to a specific location on your computer. Be a little patient it might take a little time depending on the size of the game.
- Insert an empty disc to your computer burning drive. Notice that some Xbox 360 games cannot fit on a regular DVD in that case you need a dual layer DVD with the double amount of space. Most DVD burners today supports dual layer.
Getting the ball on the rebound is the inverse of getting a woman on the rebound. With the ball, it’s hard to do, but definitely worth it. With women, it’s easy enough to do, but, well… Point is, grabbing the rebound is a tool you’ll want to grasp; you’re playing to win, and that means needing to score as much as possible. You’ll need to keep your power forward and center close to the rim, and learn how to time your jump at just the right moment, right as the ball bounces and hits the rim. Timing and positioning is everything (again, just like with women… who said that?)
Yeah, we admit that getting a grasp on the defensive strategies isn’t always as exciting as picking up offense skills. But like anything else, learning and mastering the basics is the key to coming out on top. So follow our tips, and your rival will cursing your name as he wallows in defeat. And that’s when you know you are THE MAN!

When it comes down to spending money, people like to spend as little as possible. If you’re the type of gamer that doesn’t need to obsessively purchase the latest games on the day that they arrive in stores or online retailers, then you can save a lot of money while still getting the same great games, albeit a little bit later. If you can wait a few months or even a year or longer, then discount Xbox 360 games will net you some big savings. There are several ways to go about this: renting, buying used, and simply waiting for games to come down in price as the months wear on.
While features like movie and music playback and Internet access have made the Xbox 360 video game system ideal for all home entertainment purposes, its staple source of entertainment is in video games. Some of the biggest titles on the Xbox 360 are listed below, but you must understand that there are literally hundreds more to choose from. RPG fans will delight in the Xbox 360 video game system because they get to choose from the likes of Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Shooter fans will love Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War, while any type of gamer will love Grand Theft Auto IV and Fallout 3. The game library for the Xbox 360 video game system is already very large and complete, but there will be hundreds of additions to it over the years.
A Cheaper Alternative
If paying or more for a video game does not sound too appealing to you, then you can choose to rent Xbox 360 games. The new business model has consumers paying a small monthly fee in exchange for renting the largest selection of games available, from just released blockbusters to obscure games from ten years ago. For or a month, gamers can rent games for as long as they like without any late fees. This is a smart alternative to buying expensive games, because gamers often only finish games once (if at all), and much of their or purchase goes to waste. Of course, renting games isn’t exclusive to the Xbox 360 video game system, and PS3, Wii, and PC gamers can all rent video games for much cheaper than it would cost to purchase them.
Walmart
Did you know that Walmart carries the Xbox line, including the Xbox 360 Premium system? If not you do now, and this is one retailer that you are surely going to want to check out for yourself. We all know how great of prices Walmart offers on a regular basis, and the same applies here to the Xbox systems.
The bottom line is that this is a fantastic video game console, one that is definitely worth trying for yourself. Keep in mind that the prices are constantly lowering on the older Xbox 360 pro system as newer versions take their place, and so you can wait even just a few months and the cost will drop dramatically. You do always have the option of buying the game used, but you have to be very cautious if you decide to go this route because you can never really be too sure of the condition of the game if you are buying it used.
